My name is Jennifer Zsolt and I am an illustrator/artist that lives and works on my hobby farm in Pefferlaw, Ontario. Rural Ontario is such a great source of beauty and inspiration for my fun and quirky designs. Our rescued “Potcake” dogs from the Caribbean and our newest Yorkie cross puppy Otis, along with Willie the horse and the five ladies (our hens), provide plenty of laughs and ideas for my illustrations.
I love to paint using pen and watercolor and also experiment with pastel, oils and acrylic. I can’t stop collecting beautiful papers and every color of marker and pastel there is to try out. Currently my designs are available as cards and prints under my “UglyChickenFeet” line and I will happily do commissions as well.
When I’m not busy painting and driving teenagers to their various activities, I love to be outside riding, walking the dogs or redesigning some part of the garden. After almost twenty years working in legal publishing, I’m so happy to be on the farm, surrounded by dogs and horses, and playing with my paints and markers.
